Hydrophobic and Oleophobic coatings

Coatings are used in manufacturing to increase the properties of surfaces against aggressive environments. The single most important case is the preparation of hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings to provide resistance against water and oils, respectively.

Such coatings minimize energy waste for regular cleaning or maintenance of surfaces while in addition they increase the lifespan of such surfaces. This course describes all technologies used for the preparation of such protective coatings and it is of great interest for chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, potential investors, and manufacturing companies.
